"This is just the tip of the iceberg, a taste of the incredible summer me and The Very Good Band had traveling the US and Canada, playing every night. We chose to release the Boulder performance as an album because the sound was especially good that night, and we had been on the road for a few weeks by then so things were really dialed in. I remember arriving in Boulder that morning, after a long night drive, and walking out for some coffee and wondering if I had died and gone to heaven. Tim Heidecker & The Very Good Band (Live In Boulder) is an extension of Heidecker’s live EP Boulder which was released last year, capturing songs performed by Heidecker & The Very Good Band at his 9 August 2022 show at Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado. The performance is live and untouched, and gives a window into the energy and musicality on stage every night of the USA tour.
